"I Kissed a Boy" - Cobra Starship

Fairly obvious what this is sending up - rather cute too! Not the official video though.

(Obviously YouTube hasn't blocked all music videos to the UK)

Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal

Dedicated to PJ who introduced me properly to this folky acapella band from Seattle during a mega mutual download session ( I now that sounds rude but it isn't).

The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name

Sorry for another tardy post. Just as it has relinquished the UK No1 single spot I'm getting around to posting "That's Not My Name". The Ting Tings'just released album is probably going to be on my shopping list.

The previous single from the album, Great DJ, is here.

Triple Duffy

Like Mika last year, Duffy became my fave new artist on first hearing. I'm a bit late to post "Mercy", though still not tired of hearing it.

Here are a few other choice tracks. Duffy's voice eminds me a bit of an 80s singer called Carmel, whose biggest hit was "Bad Day".

The video for the title song from the current album, "Rockferry"

"Warwick Avenue", allegedly the next single, performed on "Later' last year

Lastly, a couple of covers from the 2007 into 2008 Hootenanny show.

Kate Rusby - The Village Green Preservation Society

This seems to have been released as a single (it's a bonus track on her current album), following its use as the theme tune to sitcom "Jam and Jerusalem". Can't find a proper video on YouTube though. It's a cover of a well-loved Kinks song from 1968.

Morcheeba featuring Judy Tzuke - "Enjoy the Ride"

Been gently charmed by this recently, so I thought I'd give it a wider audience.
