Totty alert ! Christian Cooke back on TV!

He's back in a militaty beret too (RIP Ross Jenkins)!

Having not really been seen since playing the lead in "Cemetary Junction", Christian is taking on a more gritty role than usual in Peter Kosminsky's "The Promise" which begins a 4 part run at 9pm on Sunday. He plays Sgt Len Matthews who goes from liberating concentration camps at the close of WW2 to being a peace-keeper in 1940s Palestine. The action shifts between the past and the present middle east (represented by Claire Foy as his grandaughter who is reading Len's diaries).

Looks likely to be one that ruffles feathers as much as Kosminsky's previous works, so I won't just be tuning in to see Mr Cooke in khaki shorts ...

Meat to Please You - Travis Wade - ADULTS ONLY!

This is one of my favourite sets of all time, apparently dating from July 2001, which never fails to give me the horn.

I've given you some of 'bluecollar Travis' here but he also strips from a US dress marine and cop uniforms.

Anyone know the photographer or other info?

Meat to Please You - Edu Boxer - SFW

Just for a change here's a gallery without full nudity, so I've marked it 'safe for work'. Do not fear a policy change though, to catch up I'm posting a MTPY today, tomorrow and Friday and the next two will have the requisite willies!

Armed Forces Day 2010

Armed Forces Day. Honouring Britain's Armed Forces - Past, Present and Future.

Find out more about Armed Forces Day

If you love a man (or woman) in a uniform and want to show your support ... or just get up close then there's plenty of opportunity coming right up.

The second Armed Forces Day happens on 26th of June this year. For 2010 the celebrations centre on Cardiff on the day, but events are planned around the country honouring serving personnel and veterans alike.

The Scottish events calender is launched next week, with the first major diary date being the Stirling Military Show on the 19th. If you want something two weekends running you can! Most of the big cities (Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen, Edinburgh) hold their event on the 26th.

I'm thinking of checking out Stirling and Edinburgh and will bring my camera, hoping for summer weather ...

Marines are from Mondas ...

Did anyone else see this pic in yesterday's papers and immediately think of this:

The guys are marines from 45 Cdo based at Arbroath, but out in deepest Norway on exercise. As I played a very small part in getting PA out there I was rather pleased with the result.
