James Toseland strips his bike leathers

Saw this on the telly this morning and was glad to find these pics. This was by way of a goodbye to World Superbikes as James Toseland swaps to MotoGP next year (don't ask me the difference).

Gary James of The Independent reports:

"James Toseland scored the first double victory of his career and his first win at Brands Hatch yesterday when he virtually guaranteed that he will enter the MotoGP series next year as the reigning World Superbike champion.

The 26-year-old Yorkshireman performed a near striptease on his victory lap at the British round of the superbike campaign, stopping to cast first his gloves and then his boots into the crowd. Then he gave away his helmet, and finally stopped on the front straight to remove his leathers and hurl them over the fence. He ran back to his Hannspree Ten Kate Honda garage dressed only in his pants and socks."

Of course he went a wee bit further for Cosmo last year ...
